Kevin Johnson, CLTC, LTCP
President
Kevin has been in the Insurance and Financial Services business since 1974 with a focus on Long-Term Care
insurance starting in 1988. He was co-founder of NLTCB in 1991. Kevin has been a featured speaker at many LTC
insurance industry meetings and conferences and he has served on many LTC Advisory boards of major insurance companies. Kevin has published many LTC
articles for financial and insurance industry magazines. Kevin also serves on the advisory board for the
American Association for LTC insurance as well as the Double H Hole-in-the-Woods Ranch, a retreat ranch
which provides recreational and emotional support for children with critical illnesses. Kevin has been
president and CEO of National Long-Term Care Brokers since its founding in 1991.

Peter J. Kelly, CLTC
Chief Operating Officer
Pete assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer at NLTCB in 1999, where he became responsible for managing the new business operation and brokerage support for long term care and life insurance. Prior to this role, he was Vice President of Life Brokerage at NLTCB where he helped support Life Insurance sales for the firm.
Since 1997, Pete has continuously increased NLTCB's expertise in underwriting long term care insurance and has
developed a proprietary underwriting database with the ability to guide our agents and clients to
the most appropriate insurer. Pete also serves as Chief Brokerage Underwriter for the firm for LTC and Life Insurance products.
Prior to joining NLTCB, Pete was in the health insurance field since 1983, and entered the Life and Disability fields in 1990 where he specialized in insurance and benefit
planning for small business'. Pete holds his B.A. from Syracuse University, and has also completed numerous courses in a Masters Program in Health Systems Administration. Pete has been with NLTCB since 1996.

Gary Clair
Vice-President, Life Brokerage
Gary has been in the insurance business for twenty years, with experience in life, disability,
annuity, and group products . Gary managed a disability brokerage office servicing Eastern
New York for ten years. Prior to joining NLTCB, Gary was the regional vice-president for a
New York insurance company with supervisory responsibilities for NY agencies. Gary has been with NLTCB since 1998.

Bob Vandy, CLTC, CLU, ChFC, LUTCF
Vice President, Marketing
Bob has been in the financial services business since 1990 both in the field as an agent and in home office training & support and management capacities. After working with the firm in the early 1990's, Bob re-joined NLTCB February 2003. His role is to help grow the network of NLTCB affiliated producers and help build key strategic alliances, while acting as the main contact for several of those alliances. Additionally, Bob provides support to our network of producers in developing sales in the business, pension, retirement and estate planning areas. Bob is a member (and past Director) of the Capital District Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors, member and Past President of the Eastern NY Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals and is an approved member of the National Ethics Bureau.

David Michalski, CLU
Director of Annuity Marketing
Dave has been in the financial services industry since 1976, having worked as an Accountant, Collections and Credit Manager since then. Dave became a Licensed Agent with The Prudential, a major career company in 1984. He received his CLU designation in 1989.
He is a life insurance and annuity sales manager for the firm assisting agents with annuity quotes, understanding product features, and marketing initiatives for annuities. Dave holds his Bachelor of Science from Siena College, and is also a Notary Public. Dave joined NYLTCB in 2002.

Sheila Maralit
Annuity Support
Sheila assists our affiliated agents with annuity company appointments, distribution
of annuity marketing materials, and new business and Reg 60 follow up. Sheila joined NLTCB in 2005. |

Joseph Maru
Annuity Sales Manager
Joe provides assistance to our brokers in the marketing of deferred and equity indexed annuities.
He also handles agent service questions, Reg 60 Disclosure completion, and the processing of annuity
new business. Joe holds his Bachelors Degree from Colgate University, and joined NLTCB in 2006. |

Melissa Frasier
LTC Brokerage Director
Melissa oversees marketing of long-term care products to independent brokers throughout the country. She has been with NLTCB since 1996. Melissa provides brokers with policy information, comparisons, and competitive information to assist the broker with the LTC sale. Melissa conducts presentation on LTC insurance at broker forums and other producer oriented gatherings. Melissa also helps prospective agents and brokers understand the the benefits, and value added advantages, of choosing NLTCB as their LTC brokerage.

Jennifer Brown
LTC Brokerage Support Specialist
Jennifer provides LTC cost comparison matrixes, policy information and comparison and competitive information to assist
our affiliated brokers with the LTC sale. Jennifer entered the LTC business in 1996, and has been with NLTCB since 1999.

Matthew Gaul
LTC Brokerage Support Specialist
Matt provides LTC cost comparison matrixes, policy information and comparison and competitive information to assist
our affiliated brokers with the LTC sale. Matt began his career in the Life and LTC business in 2002. He has previously worked in the print and news media business. Matt holds a B.A. in English Literature from the State University of NY at Plattsburgh. Matt joined NLTCB in 2005. |

Rich Altier
LTC Brokerage Support Specialist
Rich brings over 24 years of property and casualty insurance experience, selling his Property and Casualty Agency in 1997.
He started his own multi-media business in 1998 producing individual video productions and commercial marketing productions for
businesses and non-profit organizations across the US and Canada. Rich joined NYLTCB in October 2007 and assists our Agents
and prospective Agents and Brokers in selecting the best possible coverage solutions for their clients. Rich enjoys spending his
free time with his lovely wife Cindy and daughter Jessica.

Claire Canale
New Business Supervisor
Claire oversees all aspects of new business processing. Claire also manages the time service
standards with our insurers and vendors for the completion of processing of new business. Claire joined NLTCB in 1998.

Desi Lyons
Life and Disability Coordinator
Desi supports NYLTCB agents with sales and service support on all life and disability products.

Paul Silva, CLU, ChFC
Paul brings 28 years experience in the financial planning field. His professional designations include both the Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant where he graduated in the top 3 of the class in both.
His background includes a concentration on tax planning and the effect of investments on goal achievement. He consistently finished in the top 5 financial planners in a large national organization.
Paul has hosted a Radio talk show called "Scriptural Insights on Finance" and has been an expert commentator on financial issues on TV.
As a liver transplant recipient, Paul does volunteer work with both the American Red Cross and The Center for Donation and Transplant.
Paul lives in Lake George, and helps his wife "spoil" their 4 grandchildren.

Jim Gedney, LUTCF
Life and Disability Coordinator
Jim was as an agent for a mutual company in the upstate NY Market since 1990. His background included
estate and business continuation, key employee fringe benefit planning as well as personal life
insurance. Jim provides broker support and quotes for life, disability and annuity products. Jim holds a Bachelors in Accounting from Siena college and has been with NLTCB since 2003.

Brian O'Connell CLTC
Marketing and Training Specialist
Brian's responsibilities include the development, training and implementation of marketing and sales concepts for dissemination to the sales force of the
company. In addition to developing materials, it includes implementation schedules, testing and measurment criteria to evaluate the
effectiveness of specific marketing and sales techniques.

Penny Santagato
Licensing Coordinator
Penny assists our brokers with licensing and appointment requirements for our insurers. She also
handles the busy reception desk at our office in Clifton Park, New York. Prior to joining NLTCB Penny worked with another major insurer for 35 years. Penny has been with NTLCB since 1995.

Stephanie Baker
Commissions Distribution Coordinator
Stephanie supports the commissions department with our weekly commission run and she assists our affiliated brokers and agencies with commission related questions. Stephanie holds her degree in Paralegal studies, and joined NLTCB in 2006. Stephanie owns the cutest puppy ever.

Jill O'Connor
Director of Commissions
Jill joined NYLTCB in 2006 and brings a background in commission and premium accounting from a home office setting. In her role at NYLTCB she oversees commission distribution from our many carriers and handles a wide range of financial responsibilities for the firm.

Heather Gifford
Materials Distribution Coordinator
Heather assists our affiliated brokers with necessary marketing and new business materials. She also supports our policy issue processing and works our insurers for service timeliness of new business. Heather joined NLTCB in 2008.
